It is advisable to book in the evening as tables are very quickly taken.

Wavecrest cafe

The Wavecrest cafe has been serving home cooked food to locals and visitors alike for many years. Recently refurbished with a conservatory with sea views, it is the ideal place for a snack, full lunch or just cup of tea. Penny the proprietor makes all the food fresh each day and specials regularly feature such childhood favourites as cheese and onion pie, fish pie and Granny Hudsons apple pie and custard.
Don't expect to go for a long walk after sampling her huge cream and jam scones!

The Church Bay Inn sits on the hill above Gadlys and has the most stunning views across the bay. No food is served here at the time of writing, however, it's well worth the uphill walk to enjoy a cool beer or ice cold glass of white wine whilst sitting on the terrace watching the sun sparkle on the water
